Painting Zion

I had never driven through the center of Zion National Park. Always on the outskirts at different borders. In October, on a chilly morning, I parked my car at the side of the road and carved the time to sketch the landscape with pencil on watercolor paper.

I've been sketching with pen and pencil while traveling for years now. Knowing that my next step, is to sit still, at home, and paint. From memory, with heart, and attempting advanced practice, with pictures.

It's time to study the country of my home state.

Art comes alive when you paint people, things, and places you love. Stay on top of the things you love!
